Tested three drones today 2/26/24 for GPS controlled landings.
First test was a Holy Stone HS700 drone.
Next was a Holy Stone HS700D
and lastly I tested a Snaptain SP7100.
The snaptain SP7100 landed about 1 foot away from the landing pad. The Holy Stone HS700 was next about 2 feet away. Last place the most expensive drone the Holy Stone HS700D was 15 feet from the landing pad.
All of the drones connected to 12 – 15 GPS satellites. There was a slight wind just above 10 mph but, the Snaptain was the lightest drone so you would think the wind would effect it more. Not the case.
